1936

"It is bad news to learn from our leading authorities that 99 percent of the American people are deficient in minerals, and that a marked deficiency in any one of the more important minerals actually results in disease. Any upset of the balance, any considerable lack of one or another element, no matter how microscopic the body requirement may be, and we sicken, suffer, and shorten our lives." Senate Document 4264 of the United States Congress, 2nd session, 1936.

1974

"I calculate that in the U.S. the use of toxic genetic chemicals, (herbicides, insecticides, hormones, steroids etc.) cause damage equal to atomic fallout from 145 H-bombs of 14 megatons each, or in terms of atomic bombs - from 72,500 atomic bombs of the Hiroshima type. For this reason in the United States in the last ten years disease of all kinds and births of mentally retarded babies have increased tremendously. The damage to plants, crops, soil fertility and water pollution are practically incalculable. If use of these toxic genetic chemicals persist in agriculture and on food this will cause the destruction of the American People. " From the book "Atoms in Agriculture" by Dr. Americo Mosca, famous chemistry prize winner of the Brussels World Fair.

1996

"All the medical research and billions of dollars spent to find cures has not altered the advance of killer diseases. The extensive use of pesticides, fungicides, preservatives, other chemicals and de-mineralized food is a constant threat to our health. A body that is not receiving optimum nutrition cannot deal effectively with toxins which poison the body and weaken the immune system. We have been given evidence that most disease stem from nutritional deficiencies. We must look to a full spectrum of nutritional supplementation to prevent premature aging, disease and to experience optimum health. " [Source Unknown]
